In July, I had the privilege to participate in Bursa Malaysia’s flagship event: Invest Malaysia Kuala Lumpur (IMKL) 2017. Invest Malaysia is a great platform that brings together Malaysia’s leading and growing listed companies and puts their leaders under one roof with fund managers, regulators and other key capital market players.
The plenary sessions held during this event gave me great insight from other company leaders who are successful in their own right. At the same time, it aspires me to always push more boundaries for the betterment of Protasco.
I was delighted to be featured on The Star’s business news section as part of its coverage on Invest Malaysia, where I shared my hopes for Protasco’s performance going forward and the pride I take in the growth in Protasco’s business divisions.
In this article, I talked about the positive growth in Protasco that I am anticipating in 2018 following the relatively flat 2017 we are expecting:
At Protasco, the company will focus this year on construction, maintenance and property. I was proud to share our divisions’ notable projects that includes the Phase 1 and 2 of the Perumahan Penjawat Awam 1Malaysia (PPA1M) in Putrajaya and the bridge linking Old Klang Road with the New Pantai Expressway across the Klang River. On top of that, I am also looking forward on the progress of phase 2 of the PPA1M project that will contribute to Protasco’s revenue this year:
I am also hopeful that in the year 2018 we will see the recovery continue and strengthen in the property sector. Protasco is looking forward to the sales launch of our mixed residential development in Telipot and also the launch of the double-storey shoplots in Sentrio Gallery in Pasir Gudang, Johor, this year.
